Steve Sandler is a New York City artist that has drawn much of his inspiration from the styles of many of the French master impressionists such as Cezanne, Matisse, and Picasso.  He traveled to France creating his own colorful style primarily working in watercolor and acrylics.  Many of these pieces are large form canvases depicting scenes in Provencal and other locations on the Cote D’Azur – sometimes in the same or similar locations to masters whose style and technique provide the inspiration to create his own signature style.  Sandler has had many solo art shows in New York City and several other regional shows.  Some of the galleries included the Cork Gallery, The Broom Street Gallery, La Mama Galleria in NYC, and his works are in collections in New York, France, and Germany as well as many other private collections.  He has studied at The School of Visual Arts and Art Students League in New York.
