Ed Heck’s work is often described as fresh, bold, and engaging.  He is an in-demand pop-art artist and his artwork has attracted a large audience in the US and beyond.  He was born in Brooklyn in 1963 where he still lives today. Heck has been drawing since was a young boy where he often painted alongside his father. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City and has worked as an illustrator of children’s books and scientific journals.  He was also a senior principal artist at The American Museum of Natural History.  He eventually combined his line drawings with vibrant signature colors and this style developed into his passion. Ed Heck’s first exhibition took place in 1999 in New York. His witty and colorful comic sketches were an instant success and continue to be popular today.  He is recognized as one of the most iconic pop-art artists working today.
