CINDY FRANZ grew up in the Chicago area and studied art there. She also studied drawing at the New York Studio School, and ceramics at Greenwich House Pottery, both in Manhattan.
The artist works in mixed media; drawing, painting, collage, and also ceramic.
Cindy’s work is expressive and is currently incorporating the figure into a semi-abstract background.
Cindy uses art to express personal experiences, as well as to explore space on the picture plane.
