Brooklyn Artist Brian Reynolds Bosworth’s Work Reaches New High
Brooklyn, NY – In just the second gallery showing DAZLART’s artist Brian Reynolds Bosworth resulted in robust sales of his work this past weekend in Brooklyn Heights. At the DAZLART Gallery Pop-up Event, the sale established a new high for Bosworth’s work. The Red Line 2 sold for $1,600.00 (see images below). Bosworth’s striking modern oils mixed with hot and or cold wax appealed to the art lovers that visited the art fair. Brian has created exciting modern abstracts that emphasize rich colors, texture, and shapes. He prefers to use squeegees, scrapers, brayers, or just his fingers and hands in his work. Brian also uses many tools that might be used in molding clay or sculpting. Bosworth often incorporates other materials such as sand or marble dust or even plaster to offer texture and relief. He paints on wood panels and on microfiber cloth strong enough to support the multiple layers of wax and paint.
